Trump's Family Member Seeks Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

The rising star boasts impressive social media presence

Kai Trump can count on multiple prominent backers when she makes her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, obtained a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, possesses multiple courses worldwide and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she revealed.

Kai explained that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He practically advised me to compete and enjoy myself," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has played in just three tournaments this year and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a superior person. He advised me to go out there, relax, adapting to the flow."

Kai will face several top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to different demographics, particularly among youth audiences.

The young star boasts a massive following and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
